Marina Diamandis returns with a new era, reclaiming her power after struggling with depression and health issues. When creating her 6th studio album PRINCESS OF POWER, she found herself seeking for a new sense of freedom and transformation. While she embarked on the journey of finding herself, her stage name ¨Marina and the Diamonds¨ no longer felt in touch with her own values, which led her to change it to simply ¨MARINA”. This decision was for her to not feel trapped in the artistic alter ego that she created “Electra Heart” and to feel more connected to her identity as a person rather than feeling like a character. Despite her success, she also faced significant challenges during this time, dealing with chronic fatigue syndrome, grief-related panic attacks, and feeling trapped by fame. Approaching the need for healing and exploring a spiritual rebirth. Marina took the opportunity to look inward and rebuild her relationship with music, focusing on creating something new and meaningful for her next era.
Out of the blue, Marina teases her fans with the drop of her first single BUTTERFLY, a blue-toned song that she 
released on February 21, 2025. She explains the meaning of the song in an interview at the Grammy museum, mentioning, “It’s about, like a moment in life where you have been stuck for so long, you’re in this chrysalis and you begin to grow into something new”. Marina evolved from her chrysalis to spread her wings and release a new pop record. As she found peace in being alone, she embodies a transformation that embraces her introverted nature and finding happiness in solitude.
Furthermore, releasing 2 more singles, CUPID’S GIRL on March 21st and C**TISSIMO on April 10th of 2025. Pulsing a euphoric, disco-lit, electro pop, and lyrical declarations of freedom, feminine energy, and love. A month later, Marina broke free from the past and the
expectations of the music industry by independently releasing and producing PRINCESS OF POWER through her own label Queenie Records in partnership with BMG on June 6, 2025. Questioned about the album on vogue, Marina says, “I think such a big element of this album is play, and reawakening that part of myself. I just hadn’t felt it for such a long time.” The album was written during a period of deep self reflection, as she fought for a desire of inner transformation to embrace vulnerability as strength and turning pain into power.
Welcoming her fans to her world, Marina announced the Princess of Power tour on June 9, 2025 in North America & Canada with opening acts Coco & Clair and Mallrat. Creating the MARINA FUND, which donates a portion of tickets and merchandise sales to organizations that support LGBTQ+ individuals and humanitarian aid for communities in Palestine. As she designs her stage as a concept of a videogame and emerging the idea of a soul coming to earth to learn the lessons of love. Marina divides her setlist into different 6 levels of life, demonstrating them as STARFIELDS, FAMILIAR HELLS, THE COCOON, DIGITAL FANTASIES, PARTY PARADISO, and KEYS TO THE CASTLE. Also creating a Princess of Power Pageant for VIP only, where fans can dress up and attend the stage, while she sings c**tissimo. Afterwards, she picks the best dressed as the winner of the pageant. While being on tour, Marina surprised her fans with a deluxe edition of her album PRINCESS OF POWER that she released on October 24, 2025. As she centers the album’s theme on self-discovery and reclaiming power in love and life. Marina isn’t just making music, she is building a future rooted in authenticity and creativity, feeling free and happier than ever.
